I had a great weekend. I headed to Delaware early Saturday morning. The tea at the Victorian Lady was just incredible. As usual, I forgot my camera so I had to take pictures with my phone. I'll post them when I upload them. After that, we went to my favorite thrift store nearby, then to a mansion that was having a flea market. I did some serious damage! ;-) Some of what I got below ...

The dishes were $7, the bowls $6, and glasses $6. Funny thing about the bowls ... I got them at the thrift store. We went to the flea market at the mansion afterwards and the same set was there for $25!

I think this is an oyster dish (right?). In any event, I thought it would be perfect for deviled eggs. It was $4.
The gold rimmed bowl was $4 and the little bowl on the right was $.49. I have a sugar and creamer that matches the bubbles on the little bowl.

I think these dishes will be great for Christmas.
The flea market was outside Parson Thorne Mansion and we had to run through pretty quickly because it was the end of the day. We were able to go into the mansion and I thought it was a little creepy actually. I don't think I'd want to live there. My parents had been on a tour previously with a woman who had lived there as a child. She said that it was haunted and I can totally believe her!

Anyway, it was nice to have a day out and to spend some time with my mom but I was so happy to be back home with my little ones. I have a lot more to share later this week!
