Is it Fall yet?

I love fall. Its my favorite season. By August, I'm dying for it to be October. I'd hoped for an October wedding or baby, but didn't get either. Last week I went to Michaels and was excited to see all the fall stuff out, but nothing appealed to me. Lots of orange pumpkin stuff. Today, I went to JoAnn's and found some WHITE pumpkins so I came home with these ...

There was a teapot, mugs and other items to match the salt and pepper, but I just don't need those (not that I need these either). There was a platter that I didn't get, but I think I'm going to go back for it because it would be perfect for the spot over my range hood for the fall. These weren't a huge bargain like I'd get at the thrift store, but I didn't have any luck thrifting this week. I think the salt/pepper were $4ish and the pumpkin was $10. I think they will look nice with my thrift store acorn that I got last week since the pumpkin has an acorn pattern.
