Button Frames

I love things made using buttons. I've posted about them before here and here.

So, I had some boring black frames that I took down when I put the shutters in our office.

I wasn't sure what to do with them. I gave it some thought and after some spray paint and addition of shell buttons, here they are now ...

I didn't even consider the connection of the button frames hanging above my sewing table and they really make a huge difference here. They add some life to the area.

This was actually more time consuming than the shell mirror glueing all those little tiny buttons and I burned myself a few times, but I'm so happy with how they turned out and it was well worth it.

Take a look at the other projects on Between Naps on the Porch's Metamorphosis Monday and DIY Day on A Soft Place to Land.
